1. How can I manage my DNS settings?

Answer:

  1. Log in to your account on our website.
  2. Navigate to “My Domains” in the Aname billing client portal.
  3. Select the domain you want to manage.
  4. Click “Manage DNS” to update A, CNAME, MX, TXT, and other records.
  5. Changes typically propagate within a few hours.

2. How do I point my domain to a website?

Answer:

  • If using cPanel hosting, update nameservers to our provided ones.
  • If using third-party hosting, set the appropriate A and CNAME records in DNS Management.
  • Changes may take a few hours to propagate.

3. How do I connect my domain to Cloudflare?

Answer:

  1. Sign up at Cloudflare.com and add your domain.
  2. Cloudflare will provide new nameservers.
  3. Update your nameservers in the Aname billing client portal.
  4. Changes take up to 24 hours to propagate.

4. How do I set up custom nameservers for my domain?

Answer:

  1. Go to “My Domains” in the Aname billing client portal.
  2. Select your domain and click “Manage Nameservers”.
  3. Enter your custom nameservers (e.g., ns1.yourdomain.com, ns2.yourdomain.com).
  4. Save the changes and wait for propagation.

5. My domain is not resolving. What should I do?

Answer:

  • Check if your domain has the correct nameservers set.
  • Ensure your domain is not expired and is active.
  • Verify your A records and other DNS configurations are correct.
  • Wait for DNS propagation (it can take up to 24 hours).
  • If issues persist, contact our support team.

6. How do I enable WHOIS privacy for my domain?

Answer:

  • If WHOIS privacy is available for your TLD, you can enable it during registration.
  • If you already own a domain, go to “My Domains” → Select the domain → Choose “Add Privacy Protection” (charges may apply).

7. Do you provide DNSSEC for added security?

Answer:
 Yes, we support DNSSEC for compatible TLDs.

  1. Go to “DNS Management” in your Aname billing client portal.
  2. Enable DNSSEC and configure the keys.
  3. Propagation may take some time.

8. Can I use my domain for a Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 email?

Answer:
 Yes! You need to set up MX records:

  1. Log in to DNS Management in the client portal.
  2. Delete any old MX records.
  3. Add the MX records provided by Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.
  4. Save changes and wait for propagation.
